Graduated in 1998 from the Shenyang Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with a Ph.D. in Science. Subsequently, completed postdoctoral research and served as an Instructor at the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. In 2007, was selected for the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ “Hundred Talents Program,” becoming a Researcher and Group Leader at the Institute of Microbiology. Serves as Associate Editor of the journal *MiCrORNA*.
Currently focuses on research in T-cell immune mechanisms related to hepatitis B virus (HBV) and influenza virus, including HBV-induced liver cancer, breast cancer, virus-host interaction mechanisms, and the development of therapeutic vaccines and targeted drugs. Has published over 40 SCI papers, with articles in *The Lancet*, *Hepatology*, and *PNAS*, and holds 1 PCT patent in the U.S. and 11 national invention patents, with applications for an additional 10 national patents. Has led multiple national projects, including the 973 and 863 Programs and major science and technology projects.
